PTA NEWS!
*** Important Change of Address ***
Beginning in January, all Howls, Community News, and Reminders/Notices will be sent from the “Holland Hill PTA” e-mail address rather than “Elizabeth Arkay-Leliever.” Please add hhptam…@gmail.com to your address book/contact list now to prevent important information from being sent to your spam folder. If you have any questions, or have problems receiving the PTA information in the new year, please contact Elizabeth using the new address: elizabethar…@gmail.com Thank you for your help with this transition!
From Mr. Arnone:
Please read the attached letter regarding our Physical Education teacher, Miss Klaassens.
Use your Stop & Shop card to get BONUS BUCKS for Holland Hill!
Now through March 25, 2010, Holland Hill will have the opportunity to earn cash through Stop & Shop’s A+ Bonus Bucks Program.
All you have to do is register your Stop & Shop card:
Log on to www.stopandshop.com/aplus to register your card online OR Call 1-877-275-2758 to register your card over the phone
After you register your card, each shopping trip at Stop & Shop using your registered Stop & Shop Card earns CASH for Holland Hill! Each month, the amount of cash awarded will be updated on the Stop & Shop website. You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online–at the end of the program, Holland Hill will receive a check, which can be used for any of our school’s educational needs. This is like earning FREE money for Holland Hill! There is no cost to set up or maintain an account, all we have to do is register our cards and then SHOP! This simple process makes a HUGE difference to our school. We need your support! Also, don’t forget to encourage your friends and relatives to register their cards as well–it could mean the world to our children.
H1N1 Influenza Vaccination Update
No more priority groups – Anyone who wants an H1N1 vaccination can sign up
Clinic on 12/29/09 hours – 10am till 6:30pm
Thimerisol free injectable vaccine available for those age 6 months to 35 months. All nasal spray vaccine is thimerisol free.
The Fairfield Health Department has both the Nasal Spray and Injectable H1N1 Vaccine. We will be having an H1N1 clinic at the Fairfield Senior Center on Tuesday, December 29th from 10am to 6:30pm. To be eligible to be vaccinated with the nasal spray or injectable vaccine, the household member(s) you are registering must not have any specific medical conditions. We encourage those who meet the criteria for the nasal spray to sign up for that type to conserve doses for those who can only receive the injectable. A limited number of doses are available and appointments will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Those registering will receive a confirmation via email later next week that they have been given an appointment. Only those who receive an email confirmation indicating they have an appointment are eligible for vaccination.
Those registering for nasal spray or injectable must click on the correct pre-registration link and complete the survey at that link. To register online for an appointment for H1N1 vaccination please click on the H1N1 Vaccination Update on the Town of Fairfield Website: www.fairfieldct.org.
