Would you shave your head for a child?
Participants in a St. Baldrick’s event shave their heads in exchange for donations to fight childhood cancer. Join TeamBrent at Arena at Harbor Yard (Bridgeport) Saturday March 6th for their annual St Baldrick’s celebration.  Come shave or just watch and celebrate.
12:30 Doors Open, 1pm Opening Ceremonies, 2-5pm Registration, Head Shaving & Family Fun (including open skate on the ice, head painting, music and more).  Preregistration is strongly encouraged. although shavees can register at the event.  All preregistered shavees will receive a free ticket to the March 6 Sound Tigers hockey game(7pm) where they will be brought onto the ice and honored.  For more information, or to register, please visit www.teambrent.com or email DanaMcCreesh@optonline.net
Spring Baseball Clinic
Fairfield Ludlowe High School Head Baseball Coach Keith O’Rourke and his coaching staff are offering a very special one day spring baseball clinic for the middle school children of Fairfield.  This clinic is for players of all ability levels.  Each player will participate in hitting, running (speed) and fielding drills.  This clinic is a great opportunity to get ready for the baseball season.  All profits will go towards the Fairfield Ludlowe High School baseball program
Summer Camp at the Fairfield Museum

ATTENTION: JUMP ROPE CLUB CANCELED THIS THURSDAY 1/28!:
We will be canceling Jump Rope Club this Thursday, January 28th as to not conflict with our Reflections Breakfast being held the same morning. Congratulations to all our participants! Hope to see all of our jumpers back on Tuesday.  Remember, Jump Rope Club is an on-going club that ANY student can come to at any TIME. All that is needed is a signed waiver and sneakers! Memory Book
The deadline for ordering the Memory Book at the “early bird” price of $13.00 per book has been extended through January 8, 2010. The Holland Hill Memory Book is a yearbook style annual publication with 32 fabulous pages of awesome pictures and photo collages of Holland Hill children. Students will get their Memory Book in June ~ just in time to collect autographs from friends and teachers.

To order your copy of the Holland Hill Memory Book at the Early Bird price of $13.00, complete the attached order form and return it via your child’s backpack in an envelope marked “PTA/Memory Book” by THE DEADLINE – Friday, January 8, 2010. Effective Jan 11, 2010 the price will be $16.00 per book.

Children’s math author Greg Tang will be visiting Holland Hill on Tuesday, February 2. Last chance to purchase his books at a substantial discount for him to autograph on the day of his visit. All orders must be in by Wednesday, January 6th.

The Annual Holland Hill Ice Skating Party will be held on Saturday, January 23rd from 5-7:30pm at the Westport PAL Rink at Longshore. Join us for the night skating outdoors with friends and family under the lights and stars! Bring you hats, mittens and whole family for some great winter fun! More information coming next week!

Its time to start thinking about acts because previews are coming up very soon. Please see the attached flyer (Talent Show) for very important information and dates of previews and the show. Also please see the flyer (Talents Show Act Request) to fill out to make sure you get the song that you want. You can also click here to submit your request online. Remember it is first come first serve with all songs. Please do not wait to download the flyers because previews are January 20th and 21st…we don’t want the children to miss out!!!
