The 5th Grade Class will have the honor of performing the National Anthem. Deadline for ordering tickets is Friday, May 21st. Please print and complete the attached order form. Remember everyone needs a ticket – even your 5th grade child
Transportation to the game for 5th graders will be provided from HH via bus, but your child will need transportation home.
Just an FYI – if you are an AAA member: AAA members can purchase $10 worth of B.B. Bucks for just $8.00 at any Connecticut Motor Club Office. B.B. Bucks can be used at any Bluefish home game on merchandise & concession items – it’s like saving 20%!

Spring Clean-Up Friday, April 30th!
Come one, come all – it is spring clean up time at Holland Hill. We will be having our annual Spring clean up on Friday, April 30th at 3:00pm and lots of volunteers are needed. So please bring your rakes, gloves, wheel barrows and pruners to help make Holland Hill beautiful! Girl Scout, Brownies, Boy Scouts and all are welcome! We hope to see you there! Questions? Save the Date – Holland Hill’s Annual Plant Sale is Coming!
Spring has sprung, and the Annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale is coming your way! On Friday, May 7th from 8:30am – 3:30pm, the HHPTA will be selling beautiful plants for your children to purchase for that special person in their lives. Please look for the flyer and order form on Monday, May 3rd in the weekly Howl! You can fill this form out to help your little ones plan their purchases. Questions? Tricky Trays Are Back!!
Tricky Trays are back and will be at the Spring Fair on May 15th. Each grade is given a theme and each child should bring in ONE item from
that theme. This can be brought into the classroom. Please see attachment for the different grade themes. The deadline for Tricky Trays is Friday, May 7th. Tickets will go on sale the week of May 10th. More information about ticket sales will be sent in the next HOWL. Lets not let the kids down so send in your Tricky Tray item today!!! RTM Meeting on 4/26 and Update:
The PTA Council reports that the RTM has received very few emails/contacts in support of making NO MORE cuts to the proposed budget. With that said the PTA Council encourages parents to start writing now in time for the meeting tonight. They are fairly certain that the GOP is going to propose to cut more. They will have more of a reason to cut if they don’t hear from parents. Please see the attached directory for the RTM member’s email addresses and contact them with your support of not cutting the budget anymore. Thank you.

Cub Scout Pack 89 is collecting used or unwanted trophies of any kind. If you have any trophies you would like to get rid of (even broken ones!) we will take them. Kindly bring them to school and place in the collection bin in the lobby. Feel free to remove personalized plates if you wish. Thank you for helping us to recycle!
