Holland Hill Book Fair
The Book Fair will be open before, during, and after school starting Oct. 25th, as well as during afternoon and evening parent-teacher conferences on Oct. 26th and 27th. It will also be open the morning of Oct. 28th before the Halloween Parade. Parents are welcome and encouraged to visit the Book Fair with their child during the school day.
Each class has two assigned times to visit the Book Fair; one day to preview books and then return another day to make purchases. Times will be sent to you via emails from your room parent and also included in the weekly HOWL. If you would like to visit the Book Fair, you must let the teacher know in advance so that the front office has your name on the list to be admitted into the building.
Last year, this event raised approximately $3,000 which went directly to student activities and benefits. Our goal is to surpass this amount and we need your help. Here are easy ways you and your children can purchase books, along with a few gift ideas that will brighten someone’s day!
Purchase a gift certificate before the Book Fair. This way, your children won’t have to carry cash to school and will have a set amount to spend at the Book Fair. PLUS, when you purchase a gift certificate, your child’s name will be entered into a raffle to win his/her choice of a book! Click here to download the form to purchase a Gift Certificate.
The holidays are approaching. Take advantage of discounted rates and buy holiday gifts.
Gift a book to a favorite teacher! Wish lists of books are submitted by every teacher, as well as our librarian, and displayed at the Book Fair. Show how much our teachers mean to your kids and buy books for his/her classroom. Students can include their names and a brief note to the teacher on the inside book cover as a special way to be acknowledged as the gift giver.
Back by popular demand- Pre-order the newest Diary of the Wimpy Kid at a discounted rate!
